What to Wear - A day in the life of...

This weekend was a busy one for me! Saturday was full of events! Of course, I love to wear Hadley & Me Boutique clothing so I wanted to share with you how I styled myself!

So The first order of events Saturday was Glendale, Arizona's Chocolate Affaire. Yes, yes it is as delicious as it sounds. It was literally an event of chocolate and spoiling!

I wore our first love top paired with our Bailey jeans and Generations necklace. I chose the first love top because it is the essence of romantic and feminine. It is a blush pink with beautiful white frayed thread detailed fringe. It also features POCKETS. Pockets = No purse. Given the event, I thought feminine and romantic was the look to go for and it was definitely accomplished! Plus, this top is lightweight so the AZ sun was not a bother. The Bailey jeans are surprisingly comfortable with their stretch! They have some fades/rips in them which allows air flow. Our Generations necklace features a blush stone and it matched the shirt perfectly. It hangs on a longer chain and adds a great element to any outfit. I literally wear it with almost everything! Here is a shot of the outfit outside of food truck aisle!

At this delicious event, I had the opportunity to be a VIP at the Cerreta Chocolate tent and make a chocolate pizza! I made one in the shape of a football in honor of the Super Bowl! I mixed in all sorts of yummy treats such as M&Ms, chocolate chips, and walnuts. I even topped it with white chocolate. It was a fun experience! It was a great souvenir to bring home and enjoy later.

After this amazing affaire, I got to have a different kind of fun! Last month I won tickets on the radio for a Blink-182 concert! I love Blink-182, they are definitely in my top 3 bands! Their music just speaks to my heart. My husband and I went to that together and got a sitter for dear Hadley. We did not care for the other performers but we patiently waited through all of them until Blink finally came out! They played some of their great hits and we got to watch from the front! I think I am getting a little too old for the concert scene, but it was still a great time. I do enjoy live music and hanging out with my honey. Since it was a rock show, I toned down my wardrobe a bit. I kept the Bailey jeans on because the fadings are the perfect look for a concert! I changed my top, though, to our Katie top. The charcoal gray made the outfit more on the monochromatic side of things but the crocheted lace detail added a small contrast and a feminine touch! Of course, I changed into a Blink-182 shirt that I got from their merchandise tent shortly after got there!

It was a fun day with good company and even better feeling fabulous all day! Prior to this venture of opening my own boutique, I never felt comfortable in my clothes! I was always self conscious whenever I left the house. I hope others can feel a positive shift within them as well when they wear clothing from Hadley & Me Boutique. That is why I do this.

I hope you've enjoyed a day in my life! If you don't own these items yet, I'd highly suggest them!
